Falcon 9 Launches 22 Starlink V2-Mini Satellites

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched 22 Starlink V2-Mini satellites at 10:21 p.m. EDT today from Launch Pad 40 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The first stage booster employed today was being flown for the seventh time, having previously supported the Crew-5, GPS III-SV06, Inmarsat 16-F2, CRS-28, Intelsat-G37 and one Starlink mission. The booster was successfully recovered today with a landing on the "A Shortfall of Gravitas" drone ship, positioned on the Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles southeast of Cape Canaveral. The mission, designated Starlink 6-13, brings to a total of 5,027 Starlink satellites launched to date, although not all of these are operational or still in orbit. Starlink is a SpaceX-owned and operated constellation of broadband Internet satellites intended to provide space-based Internet service to users worldwide. The service is currently available on all seven continents to over 1.5 million subscribers.

Falcon 9 Launches 22 Starlink V2-Mini Satellites

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched 22 Starlink V2-Mini satellites at 9:05 p.m. EDT today from Launch Pad 40 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The first stage booster employed today was being flown for the third time, having previously supported the Euclid and Axiom-2 missions. The booster was successfully recovered today with a landing on the "Just Read the Instructions" drone ship, positioned on the Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles southeast of Cape Canaveral. The mission, designated Starlink 6-11, brings to a total of 5,005 Starlink satellites launched to date, although not all of these are operational or still in orbit. Starlink is a SpaceX-owned and operated constellation of broadband Internet satellites, intended to provide space-based Internet service to users worldwide. The service is currently available on all seven continents to over 1.5 million subscribers.

Falcon 9 Launches Four Astronauts On Crew-7 Mission

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched four astronauts on the Crew-7 mission at 3:27 a.m. EDT today from Launch Pad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. The first stage booster employed today was being flown for the first time, while the Crew Dragon spacecraft flown today was being flown for the third time, having previously supported the Crew-3 and Crew-5 missions. The first stage booster was successfully recovered today with a landing at Landing Zone-1 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Crew-7 is made up of NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and Russian Space Agency (Roscosmos) cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov. Crew-7 is scheduled to dock to the International Space Station at 8:39 a.m. EDT on Sunday, August 27.

The booster was successfully recovered today with a landing on the "A Shortfall of Gravitas" drone ship, positioned on the Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles southeast of Cape Canaveral. The mission, designated Starlink 6-10, brings to a total of 4,962 Starlink satellites launched to date, although not all of these are operational or still in orbit. Starlink is a SpaceX-owned and operated constellation of broadband Internet satellites, intended to provide space-based Internet access to users worldwide. The mission, designated Starlink 6-9, brings to a total of 4,940 Starlink satellites launched to date, although not all of these are operational or still in orbit. The service is currently available on all seven continents to over 1.5 million subscribers.

The mission, designated Starlink 6-8, brings to a total of 4,903 Starlink satellites launched to date, although not all of these are operational or still in orbit. Starlink is a SpaceX-owned and operated constellation of broadband Internet satellites, intended to provide space-based Internet service to users worldwide. The service is currently available on all seven continents to over 1.5 million subscribers.

Falcon 9 Launches Galaxy-37/Horizons-4 Satellite

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched the Galaxy-37/Horizons-4 satellite at 1:00 a.m. EDT today from Launch Pad 40 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The first stage booster employed today was being flown for the sixth time, having previously supported the Crew-5, GPS III-SV06, Inmarsat-6F2, CRS-28 and one Starlink mission. The booster was successfully recovered today with a landing on the "Just Read the Instructions" drone ship, positioned on the Atlantic Ocean about 400 miles southeast of Cape Canaveral. Galaxy-37/Horizons-4 is a commercial communications satellite built by Maxar and owned and operated by Intelsat and JSAT. The satellite will provide television and telecommunications services to users in North America beginning in October, 2023. It will be positioned in a geosynchronous orbit about 22,000 miles above Earth at 127 degrees west longitude and has a design life of 18 years.
